Arrest in Hornsey Park Road

Hornsey Park Road was closed today for a couple of hours while police where dealing with an incident which was described as ‘a spat between housemates’. Residents were told to stay indoors as a dozen police officers broke down a front door and returned about 40 minutes later having made an arrest. The @MPSHaringey twitter account later stated: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of affray & possession of offensive weapon. Roads reopened. No injuries.”
Update Wednesday, 21st March: “24y/o man to appear at court today charged with affray re incident in Hornsey Park Road N8 yesterday.”
