      We’ve decided to call off this Saturday’s meeting about Hornsey Park Road. MP Catherine West was to join have joined us at 11am by the new benches at ‘Mayes Corner’ at the back of the Shopping Mall. A lot of neighbours and friends were planning to attend. Although the government’s changed restrictions don’t apply until Monday this no longer seems a safe thing to do. Catherine will meet individual members of the Hornsey Park Road a Living Street group in the course of the morning instead.

      The redevelopment of Mayes Corner and our ongoing fight to make Hornsey Park Road a Living Street' have seen some successes but also setbacks.

      So where do we go from here?

    • A new name for a new space – Mayes Corner

      Things are coming together nicely at 'Mayes Corner ', phase 1 of our Mayes Road linear pocket park, the stepping stones path is now open but there’s much more to come.

    • Getting a look in on Wood Green’s future

      Our report on the first Wood Green Summit, organised on Zoom by the Wood Green Business Improvement District. After the grandiosity of the Heartlands developments might Haringey be discovering a sense of proportion?

    • Could Hornsey Park Road become a living street?

      If you live in Hornsey Park Road now’s the time to demand change. The street is often in poor repair and the pavements a disgrace. The figures from 2014 show 8-9000 vehicles a day travelling in each direction.
